I have a deep love for printmaking. The simple act of carving, or drawing with my drypoint needle or mapping out a step-bite for an etching is a meditative process that brings me great calm.
Below you will see the mapping out of the various printmaking projects that I have undertaken. Some are woodcuts, some linocuts. There are a few intaglio processes (mezzotint, etching, and drypoint). In 2024/2025, I studied at Elam and created a number of aquatints using various non-toxic formulas.
I am not just a platemaker; I also love the printing and editioning process of printmaking. There is something quite satisfying about getting a consistent result when editioning a drypoint print or etching. You can get into a rhythm or flow state inking, printing, pulling, stacking.
