New Zealand Birds

The year was 2019, I had just finished my Bachelors of Fine Arts with Honours and needed something to do with myself. I was burnt out from the chaos of getting over the finish line and wanted an excuse to do some printmaking. Toi Ora, a facility that supplies classes for people like me allowed me the opportunity to continue with my printmaking in a supportive environment.

A detailed printmaking artwork of a bird, showcasing intricate textures and shading.
Cheeky Kea – Traditional copperplate etching. Completed at the Auckland Print Studio while I was interning for John Pusateri.

Some prints are available still from this series. Hit me up on my contact page.
